I’m a California native who recently relocated to Idaho. I love the quaint, small-town feel and family-oriented community. The fact that some folks have Christmas lights up in February makes this my kind of town.
I’ve been blessed to be a part of the I/DD community for the past 20 years. I’ve had the opportunity to work in a call center environment, working for a county agency for 11 years, addressing the needs of low-income families and aged, blind, and disabled individuals. I assisted with Medicaid, In-Home Supportive Services, and SSI recipients. For the past nine years, I’ve operated and owned Help4U Advocacy and advocate for families with relatives with special needs. Of all the many wonderful opportunities I’ve experienced in life, my greatest endeavor is being a grandmother of two precious grandchildren and a mother to three amazing sons, one of whom has Down Syndrome.
Whether work-related or personal, my passion for the I/DD community is never-ending. I am committed to helping improve the lives of those who face the social and economic challenges that our special needs individuals do. I am grateful to have the opportunity to work with an agency that is as committed to serving others as I am.
