Jake is a born-and-raised, small-town Oregonian who loves his home state, even more so after traveling the country. He is a former valedictorian, class president, honors student, and collegiate track and field standout at George Fox University. When he was in college, Jake started working as a waiter at a restaurant and found his calling in serving others. He quickly became involved in management and continued in the food/hospitality industry for nearly a decade. Through constant customer interaction, Jake was able to fine-tune his interpersonal skills and become a customer service expert while leading and managing teams. This passion for service eventually led Jake to become a DSP, where he gained experience in the I/DD community before becoming involved in management. As the Area Manager for Thrive Services, Jake is our own customer service liaison out in the field.
When Jake is away from work, he enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife, baby girl, and dog. Whether hiking, mountain biking, playing basketball, or paddle boarding, you can always bet that he’s enjoying the sunshine in Central Oregon. Jake loves being able to serve his fellow Oregonians and hopes to make a difference wherever he goes.
