At 17, I earned my Eagle Scout; at 18, I joined the Marine Corps, where I started my career in Human Resources. While serving in the Marine Corps, I went on a series of deployments. Upon&nbsp;my return, I was given a full-time position in human resources until I retired in 2020 after a total of 25 years of military service. During that period of time, I went to school and earned a bachelor\u2019s degree in business management and a master\u2019s degree in human resources management.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I enjoy helping people, fishing, hunting, camping, and anything I can do outdoors. I especially love being with my family and kids. I strive to teach my kids the meaning of giving back, and in the process of that, my now 15-year-old son has been orchestrating a shoe drive for the homeless annually for the past three years now. Last year, we delivered over 1200 pairs of shoes to the Boise Rescue Mission and the Salvation Army in Nampa.
